Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
A dark haired woman stands with her pet wolf upon a low, rocky, snow-covered rise. She holds a spear in her hand as she looks across the snowy landscape. To keep warm she wears grey furred pelts that are the same color as that of her lupine companion. Fir trees line the edge of the clearing that she is while majestic snow covered mountains rise up behind. The sky is a deep blue broken by dappled clouds.
This is the latest edition to my fantasy series. It was inspired by the cover illustrations of the many fantasy books I read while growing up. Illustrations like these, in fact, are what got me started in art.
This image was created using CGI and digital painting techniques.

Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
